I have blueberry bushes growing in my yard, and their leaves this year turned out really pretty I think. I picked these and am going to press them...if they turn out well I will try to incoporate them into some of the fall/harvest themed items for our swap. I also found a few Virginia Creeper leaves in bright red (also pictured) and some of my Mums and Black Eyed Susans to press along with them. Trying out sock patterns...

Charlotte, what lovely color in your leaves. I used to press a lot of flowers when I was a teenager. You brought back some woderful memories and have inspired me to try again soon!

Charlotte, what a great note to us today! I love your idea - very, very creative and special ;)

Did you get frost in your northern location yet? We have had two nights of hard frost!

Thank you for all the nice comments about my leaves! We have not had frost yet, Cary -although we have been prepared for it for a few weeks now (cleaned up most of our vegetable gardens, etc.). I was able to pick a few beans and zucchini yesterday and they are probably the very last. :)

Lovely colors. I like the way they are displayed, just like a painting.
